Agro Technology Park

Perhaps it is safe to say that the new favourite destination for local tourists in Brunei recently is the Taman Agro-Technology Park in Tungku that is run by the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources through the ministry Development.

I were pleasantly impressed with the view!

According to my research, Agro-Technology Park located in Tungku. (well, I lived near there) Mukim Gadong, it established as a one-stop centre for the development of industries in the community that offers opportunities to small, medium and large industrial enterprises.

I did not take a lot of picture of the surrounding, I was there for playing Frisbee with my friends.

The entrance leading to Agro-Technology Park, there is an open air parking space across the entrance whereby you can see quite a few foods vendors selling snacks and beverages.

There is green house selling fresh flowers! if you walk further into the park, another side of the green house is for planting vegetables. They do have vegetables like Sawi Manis, Tomatoes, and so on and rare animals such as ostrich, turkey bird and deer. That's all I know because I don't really like animals~ I couldnt get close enough to take a picture.

Mega Strike Bowling at Airport Mall.

Mega Strike Bowling

Score we get!
Mega Strike Bowling is one of our favourite places to hang out in the weekends. The place is cool and clean, giving it an exciting vibe to it. It makes all customers want to dive in and play the game, even if they don't know how to, like some of our friends.

The place itself has many features, like if you're lucky, you get to witness the Glow In The Dark effect, where they turn off the lights and the lanes and carpets glow, along with anything white, like glow in the dark. It has it's own food stand and sitting areas where you can eat and watch the game.

Jerudong Park

Introducing Jerudong Park;

Girls

Jerudong Park has always been a part of our childhood, and always a place of memories. When word got out that the park was due for a re-launching in May, with new rides and renovations, we were excited. Finally, we could try out the rides we were never allowed to do when were younger.

The games and rides in Jerudong Park now includes a Roller Coaster, a Ferris Wheel, newly repaired Go-Carts, Bumper Cars, a Merry-Go Round and so many more. You'll just have to see for yourself.

Ferris Wheel
We decided that we should clear our schedules and try it out ourselves. The pricing reasonably fair, because it only requires you to pay once every entry and the tickets given are unlimited and unrestricted to all the rides and games.

All in all, it was a day well spent.
The first ride we went on would (of course!) be the Roller Coaster. It was awesome! Especially when it was the first time for the most of us. Sure, there was a lot of hand clutching and screaming - and most guiltily, the cussing - but we don't regret ever riding it.
Next, we took a short train ride to the back of the park, where the Bumper Cars were set up. The line was long, as tourists and locals alike were excited to try them. The day progressed on like this, waiting in line, playing games and riding rides, also occasionally stopping by the food stands available when we got thirsty or hungry.

Temburong is the eastern-most district in Brunei
Temburong is the eastern-most district in Brunei Darussalam. It is an exclave, as it is separated from the rest of Brunei by Malaysia and Brunei Bay. Its capital of TemburongDistrict is Bangar. The main Brunei town located in the district is Pekan Bangar The call of a proboscis monkey. The thrill of a speedboat cutting through jungle waters.  Unspoiled.  Untamed. Unbelievable. Early European explorers told tales of the exotic wonders found on the island of Borneo. Rare orchids with blooms as large as dinner plates.

Visit to Ulu Temburong National Park are very popular with educational hours and special interest groups, such as bird watchers. Enjoying the rainforest wilders, swim in warm mountain streams, hike to an isolated waterfall, get wet in an afternoon rainstorm and wake each morning to the sounds of natures jungle orchestra.

The simple culture of the Bornean long house community can also be seen — a complete and unforgettable Borneo experience.

Night Market at Gadong.

It’s a very popular place in Brunei, to locals and tourists alike. You can find anything here. From grilled food, satay, kebabs, fried rice, nasi lemak and every local delicacies. It starts around 4pm and lasts until 2 or 3 in the morning, every day, 365 days a year. So if you come to Brunei, don’t forget to drop by here, But let me just warn you the place could be hot and stuffy and smoky too. And the smoke and smell of grilled food will surely follows you back home lol…

Pasar malam is "night market", which located in Gadong area near The Mall. its a buzz place, where you could find night stalls (gerai) selling anything under the sun, I mean food wise and some other things like clothings, toys, handbags, perfumes or CD and DVDs.

They also have another part of the gerai for vegetables and fruits. This place will even get busier when the fruit seasons come. They are all reasonably price and affordable and the food were really delicious. Like nasi ayam which costs around B$3.50 in restaurant sells at B$2 here so its really good bargain.

Getting ready to grill the chicken
But it did turn out fun and I enjoyed all the jalan-jalan, although I wasn’t the taking pictures except for some. I was a little bit apprehensive at first whether it would be ok taking pictures of all these people but I guess they were used to it.

Afterall we were not the first one who snapped pictures here, it was such a popular place and they were used to all these cameras. So nothing to worry about there. Friday and Sunday morning, there are flowers selling. Include fertilizer and insecticides.
